Custom wine cellars
Custom Wine Cellars Designed Around Your Collection
A wine storage room that protects every bottle, and looks like it was always meant to be there.
Some bottles are waiting for an occasion. Some are simply too good to trust to chance. A custom cellar keeps temperature, humidity, light, and vibration exactly where your wine wants them, so what you open years from now tastes the way the winemaker intended.

Why custom beats off the shelf
A wine fridge holds bottles. A cellar holds a collection.
Wine is quietly sensitive. Temperatures that drift, air that dries out, light that lingers, and vibration from everyday life all find their way into the glass. A purpose-built wine storage room removes those risks at the source.
Stable temperature and humidity: so flavor and aroma mature exactly as they should.
Protection from light and vibration: so delicate wines age gracefully.
Room to grow: because the collection you start is rarely the one you keep.
The result is simple: every bottle, from the everyday pour to the once in a lifetime vintage, gets the same careful conditions.
What we design
Every home, and every collection, asks for something a little different.
We design residential wine cellars in a range of forms:
Dedicated cellar rooms: a true destination for serious collecting and quiet browsing.
Glass-enclosed display cellars: your collection as part of the room, protected behind glass.
Wine walls: racking that turns storage into architecture.
Tasting rooms: a place to open, pour, and stay a while.
Furniture-grade enclosures: full cellar performance in a smaller footprint.
Whether your modern wine cellar leans minimal glass and metal or warm wood and stone, the room should feel like it belongs to your home. Thinking about a sauna too?

Climate and preservation, handled quietly
Climate and preservation, handled quietly
This is the part you should never have to think about once it is built.
We size and specify wine cellar cooling units for your room, balance humidity so corks stay sealed and healthy, insulate and vapor-seal the space so the system is not fighting the house, and add monitoring so you always know your wine is resting easy.
Good climate design is invisible. You will notice it only in how well your wine keeps.

Design and materials
Design and materials
A cellar should be a pleasure to look at, and to open.
Glass: frameless, low-iron panels that keep the view and the climate.
Metal racking: sleek, label-forward display for modern spaces.
Walnut and pale oak millwork: warm, furniture-grade joinery built to last.
Integrated lighting: gentle, low-heat light that shows off labels without harming the wine.
Stone and metal accents: texture and contrast, chosen for the room.
Inside the racking, we plan for how you actually collect: X-bins for cases, shelving for magnums, drawers for odds and ends, stemware racks, and a tasting table if you have the room for one.

Who it is for
Who it is for
Two kinds of people find their way to us, and both are welcome.
Experienced collectors come to us for precise climate control, thoughtful racking, and a cellar worthy of what they have spent years gathering.
People just beginning a collection come to us with a handful of bottles and a feeling that they want to do this properly. That is more than enough to start. A good cellar grows with you.

Questions, answered
Questions, answered
What does a custom wine cellar cost?
It depends on size, materials, glazing, and the cooling system your room needs. A small furniture-grade enclosure costs far less than a full glass cellar room. We will give you a clear picture after a consultation, with no pressure.
How big does my collection need to be?
Smaller than you might think. Some clients start with a few dozen bottles they care about. If you plan to keep wine for more than a year or two, a proper cellar pays for itself in what it protects.
Can I turn an existing room into a cellar?
Often, yes. Spare closets, basements, and under-stair spaces can all become excellent wine storage rooms when insulated and conditioned correctly. We will assess what your space can do.
How long does a build take?
Most projects run several weeks to a few months depending on scope and construction. We will map the timeline with you during design so there are no surprises.
Is a wine fridge enough to start?
For a handful of bottles you plan to drink soon, yes. For anything you want to age, a fridge works hard and holds little. When the collection grows past what a fridge can gently hold, that is the moment a cellar starts to make sense.
Do you handle both the climate system and the design?
Yes. Cooling, insulation, racking, lighting, and finishes are planned together, so nothing is an afterthought.
